Pastor Kyle White came to Community Baptist Church in June of 1999, after pastoring for nearly 14 years in Granite City, IL. After completing his seminary training through Empire State Baptist Seminary, Liverpool, NY, in 1985, and mentoring under Holmes Moore of the Bible Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO, he took his first pastorate.

Pastor Kyle has been married to Jodi since 1980. The Lord has blessed them with 8 children, who have been, for the most part, home-schooled. They still have 5 of their children at home and are enjoying 3 grandchildren from the marriage of their oldest son.

The Lord has given Pastor Kyle a heart for opening up the Scriptures to the flock the Holy Ghost has led him to oversee. His heart’s desire is to see the sheep following closely after the Lord Jesus Christ. His messages are Biblical and practical. It is his goal to practice what he preaches in order not to contradict the spoken word.

Gary Kopfstein has been in the gospel ministry for over 34 years. For 30 years he and his wife Jan were missionaries to Gt. Britain serving the Lord in Scotland and England. In 2002 the Kopfsteins returned state-side to minister in Kentucky. They were supported as home missionaries by CBC and Bro. Gary became a missionary elder of CBC in 2004. In 2005 the Kopfsteins moved to San Antonio to become an active part of the local body here. Bro. Gary and Jan have been married for 43 years and have 2 children and 7 grand children.
