Dear Praying Friends,

I had a follow-up visit with the doctor this morning to find out the results of my CT scan. It showed nothing at all. I have been sent on to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist now who will insert a small scope to look at my vocal cords. I will see the ENT on Friday.

I would have sent this out earlier today, but the day has been spent in non-stop racing around making preparations for hurricane Dolly that is making landfall tonight, and is pretty much on a direct track for McAllen. The intensity is low enough that we may not get major wind damages here, but high winds are expected and also extreme rainfall amounts. We have a housefull of guests tonight that are taking shelter with us. It will be a time of much prayer, fellowship, and weather watching.

Please continue to pray for both Janet and Michael and their health. Janet will soon be seeing the doctor for back and neck injuries from the auto accident. Michael is not progressing like we would hope with his back injury. Also we are still looking for a car for Janet, and the check has not yet arrived from the insurance company.

So many missionaries are facing health challenges right now! Pray!!!
